it runs the catapult, but the catapult crash in the same way
I use windows antivirus, I tested with the antivirus off, same problem

I notice 'Wow64Host', does that mean you're running the 32 bit version?
No, I´n usisng 64

1. extract zip to an appropriate location;
2. open cmd prompt
3. set OPENMSX_HOME=FULL_PATH_TO_CUSTOM_USER_DIR (e.g. _user subdir where you extracted zip)
4. run openmsx.exe or catapult.exe from this cmd prompt
Done, but the same problen, I can use Catapult only one time

And: Restarting your PC? Isn't is sufficient to kill openmsx.exe and/or catapult.exe using the task manager?
yes, I can kill OpenMSX and Catapult in the task manager, but even killing everything, OpenMSX does not work again, only if I restart the PC

well, today I just woke up, turned the computer on (windows 10), double click on catapult and...nothing.
Same situation as Murilo. If I try to open just openmsx takes 3 to 5 minutes to open it, when it actually opens after that.
Tried what ren said to do with 17.0-RC1 non msi, same thing.
completely out of nowhere.
last time I've used it I had turbo R GT selected as machine with ide ext, disk file image selected and a dsk in diskette 1. that's it.

Murilo: you mean you use the standard Windows Defender antivirus?
I have no clue what's going on really. Anyone?

gustavobk: if you didn't do anything and openMSX/Catapult stops working... what can we do about it? I can't explain what you're seeing. Fully removing and reinstalling openMSX (try the latest development build, please) is all I can recommend. Sad

Not asking for a solution here, I understand it's an odd issue, just informing he's not the only one now.
I'll keep trying a few things like reinstall or checking configuration files.

1 more info: I tried brute force - I formatted my PC from ZERO, and the result is .......
NOTHING, the same thing Sad
And now there's nothing to disturb, I just installed Win drives and updates

I noticed something, I left the catapult bugged about 10 min, after that time it opened, but it is extremely slow, impossible to use.

Hmmm.... I have no idea why that happens. Just starting Catapult doesn't do anything....
