Hi Vampier,

I don't know if I understand correctly. With this SEDAI, will OpenMSX on Pi 400 run well?

Ok, tried SEDAI:

GOOD SIDE:
OpenMSX run well (50fps/60fps steady depends on the title), with 3x scaler and scanlines

BAD SIDE:
How to add joysticK?
How to cooy all the systemroms?

If I exit to the shell, does not accept any configuration commands.. Question

Isn't the joystick available in the OSD menu to select at Hardware -> Connectors -> MSX Joystick Port A?

You probably can ssh into the Linux machine whilst openMSX is running. If your issue is pairing a Bluetooth controller from the commandline try this instruction. You can copy the systemroms via SFTP (e.g. use FileZilla).

@Vampier: Sedai’s website mentions this OS is running the Pi at maximum clock all the time and they suggest installing a heat sink to prevent damage to the CPU. What are your experiences in this regard.

The USb Joystick (HORI) is already selected as JoyPortA, but only buttons work..the stick doesn't work..

Already tested this joystick with OpenMSX and works fine, but not in OpenMSX via SEDAI ...

Any tips?

EDIT:
ok....
tried another USB pad with analog and digital stick.
Seems OpenMSX accept only analogstick....

There's a way to select digital stick?

Ok, another problem...
In Retropie, OpenMSX (0.16.0) run slow with scaler and effects on, but without effects and with scaler 1x, run really well and with a smooth scrolling

In Sedai, OpenMSX (0.16.0) run at 60fps with scaler and effects on, but the scrolling are not as smooth as they should be...

The configuration is the same for both version...

I don't understand why there is this difference Question

Yes, and in the latest development version we also map it by default.

The command / setting to map both analog and digital stick to joystick is this:
set joystick1_config LEFT {-axis0 L_hat0} RIGHT {+axis0 R_hat0} UP {-axis1 U_hat0} DOWN {+axis1 D_hat0} A {button0 button2 button4 button6 button8 button10} B {button1 button3 button5 button7 button9 button11}

No, vsync activated in both vversions
I've also tried to deactivate the vsync, but no luck.
I've checked the frameskip. min:0 max:3 both

WHY this different behavior in the same versions??

Believe me, i'm going crazy.. Evil
