Dolphin: very strange... why would that work for everyone, except you?? This is used also in other machines, try also some of these machines:
Acid1Test-slots
Acid2Test-hardware
Boosted_MSX2_EN
Boosted_MSX2+_JP
Boosted_MSXturboR_with_IDE
CIEL_Expert-Turbo

Not found such strings in this configs, all machines working nice.

Just tested the latest macOS build, and there is a small bug in the onscreen display menu. In the stable release you can hold the up/down arrow keys and it keeps scrolling. In the latest dev release this doesn't work, so in large directories you need to press the up/down arrow keys a lot.

Sylvester: hey, you're right. We'll take a look. Thanks for reporting! In the mean time, you could use your scroll wheel Tongue

For me, it auto-repeats for about 1 second, then it stops.

They all have balance tags.
For example: CIEL has:

and
https://github.com/openMSX/openMSX/blob/master/share/machine...

What do you mean?? Do you have the problem with the Toshibas or not?

HX-20E has the channels all on 0, see https://github.com/openMSX/openMSX/blob/master/share/machine...
HX-21 has them similar to PX-7: https://github.com/openMSX/openMSX/blob/master/share/machine...

Are you sure you are using the stock configs that come with openMSX? Where was the PX-7 file you edited?

I mean: I never using Toshiba machines, therefore fully deleted all they roms from my config.
I am sure. I open stock config, delete balance strings from PX-7, and machine start working good after,
in: share/machines/Pioneer_PX-7.xml

Please try with the latest code (778-g8902ed51c or later). Should be fixed now. Thanks again for reporting!

Anything else we should fix before releasing in your opinion?

Hi, I can remember something related to "command line -diska parameter" not working properly...

I have this situation:

1.- I have a typical directory where a dsk subdirectory exists. Inside this dsk subdirectory I have this colony.dsk file I created (.dsk file is irrelevant)
2.- I try to launch openmsx like this openmsx -diska dsk/colony.dsk -machine Toshiba_HX-20E

Result? this! -> Fatal error: No drive named 'diska'.

3.- I'm using MacOS Mojave (I think it's irrelevant (?)).
4.- OpenMSX 0.15 and 0.15.0.750.gd6ec0e4a0 both show this faulty behaviour.
5.- If I specify "TurboR" as the machine IT WORKS (!!)

6.- In fact I have the theory that if the machine has a hyphen on its name, it somehow messes with OpenMSX command line parameter launcher. For example, "Toshiba_HX-10", "Toshiba_HX-20E", "Sony_HB-F1" fail, but "TurboR" and an alias I created ("openmskiss") don't fail (this alias is a rename of the Acid Slot Test machine).

7.- But this theory of mine fails with these machines: "Sony_HB-F500P" works (!!) and "Philips_VG_8020" fails (!!), so no apparent logic is behind all this.

BTW, if I use double quotes surrounding the names that fail (i.e. "Toshiba_HX-20E") openmskiss still yields the same error...

No more tests come to my mind. Can any of you confirm this behaviour?

Note: I came accross this issue again the other day, but I can remember it happening for months.

a quick look at https://www.msx.org/wiki/Toshiba_HX-20E seems to indicate this machine doesn't have a built-in diskdrive, and as such the openMSX machine would also not have the option to insert a disk, unless you add an external diskdrive extension. :)

For example:
'C:\Program Files\openMSX\openmsx.exe' -machine Toshiba_HX-20E -exta "Yamaha_FD-05" -diska '.\Designer Plus (A. Koene, 1988) .dsk'

It's important to note that the -exta needs to be added to the command line *before* the actual -diska, as it seems openMSX processes the flags in order from left to right.

Yes, it's as fixato says: your MSX needs a disk drive to be able to use the disks option.
