Another thing I noticed, is that a bit more time needed for "hash calculations" as I start-up OM and do a state restore. Just a few seconds, but more than 18 takes. Is that on purpose?
What do you mean with "18 takes"?
From the release notes:
- fixed calculation of hash for e.g. hard disk images (unfortunately making it slower again)
" but more time than openMSX v18 takes"
ah, I've scanned the release notes but didn't notice that one. Thanx for the heads up, I'm gonna be standing back in the corner now
Ah, now I see what you mean Sorry, I read something quite different. So, yes, it's expected to take a bit more time than before. Details here: https://github.com/openMSX/openMSX/commit/6598e848f889a0daec...
If you found any bugs in openMSX 19.0 (which are not already known in the GitHub issue tracker), please post them here or make a new issue in GitHub.
Thanks!
I just added a new bug I see in MacOS when trying to use the MegaFlashROM_SCC+_SD extension.
Yeah, I responded to it. It seems like you are using an older version of the XML file for that extension. Can you please check it? Perhaps it ended up in your user folder with extensions? (Better remove these, unless you have custom extensions there...)
Yeah, it looks like I had to clear the ~/.openMSX/extensions folder after upgrading to a newer version
The question is how these extensions got there...
