Obviously, this very special cartridge has been dumped:

https://uniabis.net/pico/msx/hbij1/

This Japanese page includes a MSX-DOS 2 program to make the dumps .... and the openMSX configuration.

Why is it still not added to openMSX?

(the roms with the corresonding sha1 values can be found on the MSX2+ Sony machines)

What's the cartgridge for? And if it's already in an F1XDJ, is it in an XV as well?

I read it. So this is to change the white blocks in Super Rambo and Higemaru into characters?

All Kanji-ROMs can do that. Do you have noticed that there's also MSX-JE and Kanji BASIC?

Anyway, the question is: Why is it still not added to openMSX?

No need to use bold fonts, they're not that much more readable than the default font. I got your point in the opening post.
As this is an open community a lot of people read this, whether or not they know what this cartridge is. Elaborating that and explaining the necessity to emulate it might harvest support and therefore more effort from the openMSX team.

" more effort from the openMSX team" ? You are kidding, all the hard work has already been made by this Japanese guy, not only the dumps, but the dump tool and the openMSX configuration for the extension!

(and it will be my last contribution to this thread - only Manuel's answer will interest me)

The project is hosted on Github, so you can make a pull request to contribute the config Smile as an example I made the PR for you this time :)
