POISONIC: About Bazix not having copyrights on games from the MSX BOX.. how do YOU know which games they are licensed to distribute via WOOMB? If they actually have the rights to distribute the games mentioned in the press-kit and if I may assume that those games are also in the MSX BOX (which I don't know because I don't need no friggin' MSX BOX) they have the rights to have at least those titles removed from the package. Also, don't forget that Bazix acts as a intermediary for D4E's project EGG which is selling MSX games that are probably in the MSX BOX. Reasons enough to have the MSX BOX "removed" from the 'net (yes I know you can get it somewhere else now thanks to some MSX-posers...)

well those roms included are not the same as the crap bazix gonna sell any way....

by the way the people in the market where bazix is aiming for is not gonna waste monney for someting they get free !!!!!

by the way the software they sell wont even work on a real msx!!!! (msx software that cant run on msx should not even wair the msx logo becouse its not even backwards compatible!!!!

Its just like programming a game on msx that you cant use in a emu does that make sense????

if Bazix wants to reclaim the european msx market they should sell msx aproved software and not emulated crap (they r not so smart)

If bazix would ever sell msx software like konami games i would stop using illigal wares the same day........

by the way wich games do you mean ?????? i can only remember one game.......

and what abouth the past of some members of bazix ........ like sargon selling illigal translations, snout helping people to play illigal games.........

So i dont care about their anti piracy actions Smile

by the way they dont have any rights to send people mails to inform them that they do illigal things.

by the way wich game rights do they own then hehehehe........ by the way if you change a product from japanese to English you change the product so also the rights hehehe.........

And if the try to close funet.......... we go to russia!!! hehehehe

BAZIX is missing the oportunity to produce REAL MSX software. I would like to buy a GOLVELLIUS translated cartridge with full documents, or an Y's translated disks, with all the elements. But of course, this kind of products require a higher investment. The MSX community wants actual MSX products, no PC stuff that we all know where to get FOR FREE.

Re-releasing MSX games for MSX can be a great business aswell. Please consider it. We all have "grown up", we can afford to buy games, but we want that games for our real computers.

Well, if my last post wasn't clear enough, what I proposed in it was just delivering real value for MSX users. A MSX game brochure to let us buy games from the past in new boxes, manuals, disks and/or cartridges. Or even tapes! That is a real revival.

I bet Aleste2 and/or Golvellius 1/2 are in the MSX BOX, so Bazix can at least ask to have those games removed from the package. I agree it would be more correct to have asked the MSX BOX author to remove only those titles from the package. Then again, it would be stupid to say: "You're distributing illegal software, we own the rights of some of those titles. If you remove those titles <insert list> it's okay to continue distributing the rest of the package"

by the way the people in the market where bazix is aiming for is not gonna waste monney for someting they get free !!!!!
If those people don't want to waste money for something they can get for free, too bad for Bazix. If they can't get it (easily) for free, chances are they will either buy the game or just forget about the whole thing..

by the way the software they sell wont even work on a real msx!!!! (msx software that cant run on msx should not even wair the msx logo becouse its not even backwards compatible!!!!
Says who?? Trademark-owners can do whatever they want with those trademarks.

Its just like programming a game on msx that you cant use in a emu does that make sense????
Yes that does make sense, emulators still aren't 100% compatible with real MSX so it is certainly possible to make something that runs on the real thing but not on an emulator.

if Bazix wants to reclaim the european msx market they should sell msx aproved software and not emulated crap (they r not so smart)
Most people don't have a real MSX... And one thing is for sure: The people behind Bazix are smarter than you are....

If bazix would ever sell msx software like konami games i would stop using illigal wares the same day........
What does that have to do with having the MSX BOX 'removed' from the internet?

by the way wich games do you mean ?????? i can only remember one game.......
Aleste2 and Golvellius are mentioned in the presskit released by Bazix.

and what abouth the past of some members of bazix ........ like sargon selling illigal translations, snout helping people to play illigal games.........
Peoples opinions might change over time...

So i dont care about their anti piracy actions Smile
That message came through very clear...

by the way they dont have any rights to send people mails to inform them that they do illigal things.
How can you be so certain of that? Have you seen any contracts?

by the way wich game rights do they own then hehehehe........ by the way if you change a product from japanese to English you change the product so also the rights hehehe.........
If Bazix has the rights to translate and distribute Japanese games, they have the rights to protect those translated products. Even if Bazix isn't selling Japanese versions of games, they still act as a European intermediary for several Japanese companies. So yes, they can tell people to stop distributing certain software titles.

And if the try to close funet.......... we go to russia!!! hehehehe
Please do so, and stay there Tongue

That would be very cool indeed! Disk-based games wouldn't be too hard to distribute on real disks with boxes and manuals. Cartridges are more expensive though Sad And I doubt anyone outside the MSX scene is waiting for tapes Tongue
