But there's something new after all...the VGA output is a nice addition. Supossedly is finally working, isn't it?
Zett: With the OCM, you can modify your MSX system in a way you like. You can learn VHDL and something about reconfigurable hardware. That's the future
and i think thats not a good idea.
in a few years evry body got tere own msx onw disign and all diffrent then it's more a pc and then tere will bee needed a virtual maschine.
this idea is olso used on diffrent open source soft ware.
the same problem there. everybody makes there own version.
There's still MSX Association! The users will code new features, but -- at least -- MSX Association has to accept it as MSX! That's why the MSX community and MSX Association should work together. At least there must be standardisized interfaces, beyond them, the users can do their own coding without violating the compatibility.

That's not necessary
Think about Linux , Open MSX and Iirlicht.
Iirlicht is a open source real time 3d renderengine.
Take a look at iirlicht, and you'll be surprised.
k
but is there a case now for the msxone??
I think the biggest problem is that the are selling a product what isn't finished
but is there a case now for the msxone??

I think the biggest problem is that the are selling a product what isn't finished
When, do you think, this kind of produkt is finished?
When the keep up creating it like the do now.never
I look at it like this.
a product don't matter what hobby or pro. is finished when you kan put it on a shelf in da shop.
a product white casing info boxed.
And, when do you think MSX -- as a product -- is finished?
tanni learn to read
It's hard to read what you've written! First, I meant the OCM, second, I meant the whole MSX standard!
