Thanks, manuel I suppose it will be displayed fine in a TFT monitor, although it's not a common native resolution.
i would like to see the MSX 3 go the direction of the OCM, just an OCM with many LE's & Mhz. then the official MSX 3 can be that device + simulated MSX TR or so.
there should also be a clockchip in that MSX 3 version though and a way to temporarily (till some pin on the FPGA flips or the device is rebooted) replace the FPGA's vhdl simulation thats running. this way the new MSX 3 would truely embrace the FPGA idea
My MSX3 specs:
- High clock PC CPU
- Crappy Windoze
- BlueMSX
- Open a *big* machine and *boost* it to the limit
- Include all the available add-ons
- Set the emulated CPU speed to the max
There you're: a +100 MHz MSX with all the hardware extensions ever made. Enough? And remember: it's free
And the better part:
It's already available.
The Windows part isn't free! (nor is the PC)
