Can you tell a bit more about why it is so big? Movies? CD audio? Or should I reread this thread again?
D&D has EVA movies, that's why it's delivered on a CD.
I agree with ro.
265Mb is peanuts for most people. But perhaps you can split up the download in parts (disks?) so people with download restirctions can download it spread in time.
You can send them as "commercial sample". That makes shipment easier!
Regarding direct downloads from MRC, I would only say that copy*couff*rights might be a problem. Or are we assuming that it is an official Dungeons & Dragons licensed product given for free?
No!
You can run the game at any MSX2 with 7Mhz - this is required due to EVA videos on the CD... the game itself can be played at 3.5Mhz, but the animation will suffer a little
I play EVA videos on my MSX2+ without problems. Years ago, I think the first version of 3,5MHz EVA player (EVAIDE) was made by a Spanish user (Segio Guerrero) adapting the EVA player of Tsujikawa. He said me that the turbo R version didn't use nothing special for it. How many versions exits now then?
EVA player for MegaSCSI was working only in turboR because of the PCM.
What about shipping on CF card?
Yes i think CF card would be fine.It would be a good motivation to actually purchase a sunrise cf adapter.I want to buy one from sunrise.
Yeah!!!
Nostalgia, & it looks good!
I'm so stupid for finding out just now that out something like this is being developed!
EVA player for MegaSCSI was working only in turboR because of the PCM.
Yes I forgot, the another version uses MUSIC-MODULE.
