Read above, xgipe. Already suggested by MaSaXi!

Now it is time for the user to confirm the poll! ;D

It was very likely 'Les Flics'!
Many thanks for all your help!
Problem is that the game seems only available in dsk format, which is not supported by BlueMSX (anymore?), since I keep getting an error "no cartridge found", and starting without C-BIOS does not work.
When I have more time, I'll try to get it run in some emulator.

Uuuh, just emulate MSX(1). Should do the trick.

Under the menu "Emulation" IIRC.

No, if it were that simple I would have the game running.
With C-BIOS, BlueMSX keeps complaining that no cartrige is found.
Without C-BIOS (MSX1) it says that it can't start the MSX emulator.
I downloaded this version a few days ago.

msxplayer, you need full machine configuration, with basic and diskrom.
C-BIOS config does not include disk support.

I guess you mean with 'full machine configuration' that I select 'MSX' instead of 'MSX - C-BIOS'
But then I get the message that the MSX emulator cannot be started.
Is the BlueMSX emulator no longer complete?

on BlueMSX select option / emulation / Type MSX and choise MSX2+
with this choise many many game start and you have not compatibility probleme

I can only select 'MSX 2+ - C-BIOS' for the MSX Type when I want to use MSX 2+.
And that one doesn't work with 'Les Flics.dsk'.
