I was so glad to finally find a link to a site with Hydlide 3 info
http://naramura.kdn.ne.jp/msx3/index.html
with Babelfish it was at least a bit readable :)
I'm at the point to slaughter the dragon in the secret lair, and I have
visited the castle where you land when you jump through the clouds.
The naramura site doesnt say where to find the id card exactly, it only mentions that
it is somewhere in this castle.
I searched the castle everwhere and talked to the king but no id card :(
Can somebody please point me the exact location to look at, I'm pretty clueless.

Tnx.

I know it's in the reception room of the castle, but I don't remember if there are any conditions to obtaining it.

The reception room is in the castle, in the southwest section if I remember correctly. There's a guard either inside or just outside (I don't really remember that) who says it is the reception room. If you've found the right room, just do the "Look here" command everywhere in the room. I *think* it was near one of the benches / tables in the northwest in the room, but I'm not too sure about that. Smile

(You haven't visited the underwater castle yet, have you? I won't give away anything storywise / puzzlewise, but that's a *real* good place to gather lots and lots of XP to gain a couple of levels once you get there.)

What I don't get, how can you read the japanese messages?
In the status screen I can select English or Japanese language but this only works for the items, shops etc...
The people I meet during the game are still speaaking Japanese Sad

Maybe there is a complete english translation available that I don't know of?

The language select has three options if I remember correctly. All Japanese, English items and "Display in English of all" or something funky like that. The last one is full English, including all conversation.
