There was a 2-part (I think) article about MLS in MCCM aswell.

I have tried again, and really think it's not possible to install Moonlight Saga on ordinary Sunrise IDE interfaces. Does anyone have DIMAGE.COM and knows if there's something special about it? Perhaps it bypasses the MLS copyprotection or someting...

I submitted DIMAGE for download together with English manual and source. Did it reach?
From the manual I presume MLS on large storage media works like this; 1) DIMAGE "embeds" a disk image to a large storage drive so that it acts as an FDD with the disk in it. 2) When MLS needs to replace a disk, it searches ALL disk drives connected to the MSX and if there is an applicable disk inserted, MLS loads from that drive. 3) So if there are three drives that act as FDDs containing 3 MLS disks, MLS runs flawlessly.
If there is an existing utility that makes similar "virtual" FDD, DIMAGE isn't necessary.

Thank you. My embedding attempts failed so far, perhaps because the destination drive is Nextor or because the partition size isn't exactly 737280 bytes. I hope someone can fix the code.
