MG1 Japanese Manual

Hello all. Thought I'd ask, does anyone have (or know of) scans of the Japanese Metal Gear manual for MSX? Its looking like Takamichi-san may want to translate it for the MG1 remix project. We've looked at the UK version on Junkerhq.net and he has mentioned that the bio information is missing from that version. So if anyone can help that'd be great, becuase so far google isn't producing anything. Please respond here, or alternatively I can restore my e-mail address on the project progress page if you prefer. Thanks much in advance.

How is the project status?... are you planning to release the translation soon?

We're still in beta (the current one seems without problems so far), a release should be coming fairly soon. You can check the status at:

The project page is current as to status, and I'm adding extra info on the game as I get around to it in other sections.

It looks really promising!!

Don't worry about finding the DSK version, because I'm sure there's a lot of people capable of making such version from the ROM.

Thanks! Yea, I'm pretty new to the MSX so I didn't realize at the time that the disk versions were created from the ROMs themselves. I would do it myself, but I'd have to learn how to program a loader it seems. I may have been successful in inserting a script and updated the font in the game, but my programming skills are not far beyond "Hello, World!". ;D
