I figured that their wouldn't be any of the original midi player programmers left. I will take a look at it and see if i can put something together Wink

One of the Near Darkies once totally reconfigured MBWAVE to output MIDI through Music Module and GT-MIDI. Unfortunatly he never had time to polish his project since a hd crash wasted his sources. I still work with it, but I do feel limited here and there though.
So, if you want to put something together, maybe it'd be possible to change some stuff in MBWAVE to make it work. Maybe with some colaboration of Sunrise in legal terms, because the MIDI-fied MBWAVE I use is an unofficial "hack" Wink

What it does ? i have got a yamaha psr 550 midi keyboard too.
How i can make (produce) Midi music with it ?

what i have to do ? do make it work ? what do i need ? some program ? driver ? what ?

If you want to make music yourself, then Moonblaster 1.4 is probably your best option.

Because i've had to wait for on the FPGA for the Orbit project, i found some time to program a MID file player for the MIDI-PAC.
At the moment i've got the player working so it's actually playing MID files Wink
The downside is that there are still some MID files that are going wrong and i've got to optimize the code as it's a bit slow at the moment. The good news is that it can handle up to 64 tracks and large MID files, that means up the 4 Mega Byte if you got enough ram inside your MSX Wink
I will show it on the MSX Nijmegen fair !

Update on the progress can be found on my twitter page Big smile
