Great!

Reminds me a bit of "Return of Jelda":
http://www.generation-msx.nl/msxdb/softwareinfo/1035
only I think this is much better.

Thank you for sharing and keep up the good work! :)

The source was distributed.
It is an old version because there was no final version.

I was surprised because it was too strange.

It is too dirty.
An incomprehensible thing is done.
The basis doesn't become it.

It is experienced to expose shame.

Great!
Is there anyone willing to port it to TR? (with Karma_phantom's permission naturally)

maybe MicroTech? or NYYRIKKI?
I would, but 3D isn't my cup of tea...

Adding test and switch for r800 is easy
The hard is to replace SW multiplications with HW opcodes

I'm afraid I've no spare time for this...
Anyway I think there is always something to learn looking at how other people work, so I'll surely give a look at ROCK CITY's sources if Karma_phantom will permit...

Just do it! Wink

Hard If multiplication is "embedded" inside code (as a macro or an inline directive would do), but if there are "mul" subroutines then it would be much easier... Hannibal

What is there to be ashamed about something written 15 years ago and still manages to amaze and excite people? Smile

so... is there anyone willing to port it to TR?

Adding test and switch for r800, replacing SW multiplications with HW opcodes, adding music and sfx

Come on!

I think it runs too fast on R800 already (and I don't actually think that adding HW multiplications would change anything... the VDP is still just as slow)

Adding music routine should be very easy, but I'm not volunteering. I don't have any musics at my back pocket and I have already way too many unfinished projects and way too little time to fix that problem. Smile
