a cas image is a normal binary file you can use it on Ms-dos bassed emulator, Windows , Unix , Mac etc....
it's like a midi file or a wav file , it's a univesal format!

Just Google for "MSX CAS", and you will find a very nice spanish page...

thanks for the tip , but google (our big friend) has told me before about that spanish site...
i need more cas file but i can't find....
i'd like to find a cas version on r-type (if exists)

Don't forget the fact some ROMs are copy-protected (e.g. lot of Konami games), and just converting them to WAV may not work.
This may explain why they doesn't start.
You will need patched versions of ROMs for that - should be available on the net.
Once I started table of ROM patches in MicroWAVer, but got tired after a couple of them.
