Hello, i need to see those roms on my real machine.
Is there a way to get those running on a nms8245 with 128kb of ram?
tryed loadrom but does not work, reboot the computer..

Yes, there is. I had a disk precisely with Treasure of Usas and Vampire Killer, single density, single sided, that I used to play in my 8235. Last time I tried to use the disk the data could not be read.

So a way sure it exists.

If you want to run a 128kbyte rom you need 256 kbytes ram with loadrom. Send me a mail at msx8235-spam@yahoo.gr to help you

I got my VG8235/00 from my attic and a lot of discs don't load anymore. I had Usas and Vampire Killer on disc and was able to play them years ago, but now they don't load anymore. The past 3 hours I've tried downloading .DSK images and writing them to a floppy, but the MSX hangs or resets. Also tried holding down CTRL while booting, but that also doesn't work
Also tried loadrom but it hangs also.

Please, if someone can tell me how to get usas and vampire killer working again from disc, that would be awesome

Google "self-extracting megaroms" to find all megaroms running on MSX2 with with 128K RAM/128K VRAM

I don't know why, but the self extracting megaroms of usas and vampire killer I downloaded do exactly the same. They either hang or reset the system. Vampire killer shows a white screen for a couple of seconds, which is promising, but the konami logo doesn't appear and then the system resets itself. The MSX is fine, I can play Contra from disk with SCC from my kings valley 2 cartridge with switch. I was also able to restore Ikari warriors from a .dsk file.
I remember I always had to "bload" 8 .BIN file's for vampire killer by hand. I checked the old disk in my PC and it contains 8 16KB .BIN files, so I don't understand where these compressed files are needed for?

try the dsk in blueMSX with other MSX choice
see in loader if you have poke &HFFFF,xx or poke -1,xx
