Maybe your Open MSX is emulating a diskdrive with a broken drivebelt or something. You should get ik repaired. Talk about 100% accuracy emulating a MSX drive.

Owww, these emulator guys will never stop making their emulator as realistic as possible, will they? Tongue

Demo working. Some stupid setup problem, sorry to bother you.

There's some work ahead for producing a full game. Do you know if it's still in progress?

Yes, I'm the one who 'programmed' it. Wink
From yum, I'll get some graphics that actually look like something, and I will implement those.

By the way, if you push [ENTER] you'll be able to see the listing.
RUN "YYEDIT" to get into the (incomplete) map editor.

What I still have to do:

* change the cell system from 16x16 to 8x8
* player and enemy 'death'
* implement girls, items and blocks
* next level routine
* see if 2-player mode is possible

pitpan: can you reveal what the exact problem was? Might be useful for me to give support in the future.

Are some of these homebrews? I'm looking for games that were developed and commercially released for the MSX.

Most of the listed games are commercial titles.
Some of them, such as Fighters Ragnarök, Teacher's Terror, Cold Blood and the Kai Magazine games are just on the border of 'semi-professionality'; they are/were homebrew but sold for money, with package, manual etc.
I don't think Yab Yum was ever released commercially.

A good way to check the commercial status of a title is to browse it in the MSX Software Database:
http://www.generation-msx.nl/msxdb/

Any 100% commercial game will have stated
License: Commercial

Squeek is interesting for your series, but it's half-homebrew. It was commercially released by non-professionals in the 90's.

Note that in Generation MSX not always the License stuff has been filled in... If it's not filled it, it may still be commercial.

A weird game topic without Pretty Sheep. Couldn't let that happen. Wink
