OMG... Just because of this thread, I have "rediscovered" YabYum... Some things are better left forgotten. LOL.
Added it to my site as well: http://www.file-hunter.com/MSX/YabYum.html

It's so bad, it's actually good... No, it's not... ehm.. I don't know.

Well... :RNFF: :RNFF: :RNFF: :RNFF:

Forgotten? I don't know. Maybe it deserves an MSX2 remake. You can grab a preview here:

Yes, there is also music written for it, but it's not included yet, and yes, you can see that this was drawn by two different people, namely someone who can actually draw, and someone who couldn't do it to save his life, but there you go.
You can 'shoot' (just hold or tap the space bar), and so will the enemies, but no one 'dies', and you can't really 'do' the girls yet. But the basics (with emphasis on BASIC, just hit [ENTER] and you'll see) are there. And you can destroy the blocks with your, eeerm, load.
The idea was to add more of a puzzle element to the original concept. And different stages (like a massage salon, a movie room, and the outside for when you get kicked out) and bossfights as well. Yes, you read that correctly.

P.S. For the smarty-pants that will find out there are actually more songs on the disk: be sure to load the samplekit before you set those songs to MB-Stereo or MSX-Audio. The first song has no MSX-Audio data though, so that's pretty useless. And so it is for the "Acorn" one.

P.S. 2 There is actually a map editor on the disk. Just run "YYEDIT". Anyway, I'm, eh, I mean the guy who was making this, is not really good at programming, so if some coder wants to pick it up...

Hmmm, I wanted to try YabYum2, but it seems WebMSX has some problems with the .DSK file. I can read the directories, but the files are corrupted and can't be read. Autoexec will give a direct statement in file...
