The Witch Revenge problem..

Hi all,

I've got some troubles with The Witch Revenge from Umax, ordered by Sunrise. The problem is
in the beginning you see different castles.. each time I enter one of those, my MSX hangs Sad

Anyone knows what it could be? Cleaning or...?

Durany, that's indeed unusual. Try cleaning your diskdrive and/or disks. Maybe there's some bad sector on it.

It's really odd.. when I want to read the disk (disk 2 that is) in Basic it says: Disk I/O error.. i guess ok
but in DOS it says: Unsupported media type error reading drive A

I put in Lost World (also UMAX) disk 2 or another in DOS and it shows me the content of the disks!

The weird thing is, it only hangs at the castles, the screens on the road (enemy, woman, begger etc.) are OK.

Someone could help me? Maybe check his disk 2 from witch revenge, so I can conclude a mistake on my disks..

I think the best thing to do is to contact Sunrise (if you had not already done so). I'm sure they can provide a replacement for broken disks.

Ok, I will contact them and see what they can do.. thank you very much for the help!

I will post later on how it went with sunrise and when I have it up and running again!

I had contact with Sunrise, and they were very quick with there answer. I have a replacement for the disks.
