GORE GORILLA

now: NASTY GORILLA

I like GROSS better myself (I like the word, I think it's a nice one to express your displeasure ;))

OK for GROSS.

I see MAKES ON, NO CLOSING stuff still has to be adjusted.
So:

(1): USE <object> ........ <subject> [WON'T OPEN|WON'T CLOSE]
(caveat: no room for the last dot.)

(2): USE <object> ...MAKES <subject> [NOT OPEN. |NOT CLOSE. ]

(3): USE <object> ..HAS ON <subject> [NO EFFECT.|NO EFFECT. ]

(4): something @Hrothgar proposed (start with 3 dots) (but "won't get" 1 char too long):
   ... <object> (..8) <subject> (..10)|(..11)]

Votes?

Finally I hacked a little the program. The sentence have this form now:
WITH <object>, NO WAY <subject> [ WON'T CLOSE. | WON'T OPEN. ]

Hi, I wrote the first post long ago and I didn't know so many people were interested! In the meantime I found the original disk and dumped it. Even if I appreciate very much your work, here you can find the original "zoo.prg" in english. I don't know if it was translated by a fan or by Radarsoft...
Thank you!

lol, how come I'm not surprised? Smile
Can you upload the complete version? (Do you have a .dsk or an archive?)
Thanks!

I think it would be the most funny if the real English version shows up the moment we're finished with this thing.. Wink

I like most of our translations better Tongue What's Jack Grein called in this version though? Looks like Jack Crumps?

Also, the 'lege dop' indeed appears to be an empty cap. ;-)

Did you expect any better, seeing the d/t errors in the original Dutch :-)

I remember an English language Ducktales game, featuring a certain "Dagobert"...

Here it is the complete dsk, dumped using Disk Manager since it has a copy protection (.der file is included).
Sorry for being late, but I didn't remember this post and I came here by chance... I also think your translation is better!

Interesting.. So it's seems to be an original disk (but not official?) from the Freesoft MSX Club, Italy?
Perhaps you can dump it to .dmk. I'm not familiar with that, but @Manuel (who's also following this (hopefully Wink)) could help I guess Smile

(I was thinking about opening a new thread on s/w preservation anyway, so a proper dump would be great Smile)
