After some months of hard work, I can proudly announce that the AGD MSX Suite is ready to a first public release. Right now I'm happy enough with the results and I think it can be used to create new games for the standard Smile

Here it is: https://github.com/jltursan/AGD-MSX-Suite

Feel free to test it and give some feedback!

Some details of the project:

- MSX1 support.
- Smooth gameplay (50 fps).
- Full 32 hardware sprites available.
- Sprite flickering routine.
- Full PSG support: PT3 and ayFX players integrated.
- It can generate RAM based distributions (using floppy disk images) or cartridge files (16KB or 32KB ROM files).
- High compatibility with the already existing AGD projects.

I'll upload some fully converted games to show what can you get with the engine...

Enjoy!

Very cool!! I've already read people on MSX Telegram/Facebook/Whatsapp groups wanting to play around with it!

Two games already fully adapted to MSX:

Foggy's Quest
Oceano

Yes, I know, Oceano is sooo simple that it doesn't looks specially cool in MSX :)

Enjoy!

Thanks for this. I'll convert Foggy's Quest to CAS.
Have you tried assembling it as a Disk file?
What files does it create on the dsk?

Oceano CAS can be downloaded from here.

Foggys Quest CAS can be downloaded from here.

Due to the limitations of the TSX file format they cannot be converted to TSX.

Thank you. It might be possible to make a better CAS file from the BIN and BAS files.
