Here is a ROM version of Breaker.
It's a disk to ROM version with konamiSCC mapper.
(The ASCII8 version didn't work with my GR8NET)

With KonamiSCC mapper, it's OK with emulators and GR8NET.

Here is the file

Thanks for sharing, but are there any particularities about this conversion? Did you use the 'default' TOSEC disk for this?

I see the data on the disk is close to 256 KB, so the real challenge would be to create a real 256 KB ROM? (@ricbit? Wink)

Thank you very much for sharing, Sebbeug. Smile
Please, can you kindly disable the "key-click" in the Rom?

I only used dsk2rom
My goal was only to have compatibility for GR8NET and WebMSX. Smile
The compression option rendered the ROM non-compatible with GR8NET...

WebMSX works fine with the .DSK file: http://file-hunter.com/MSX/Breaker.html
It's even a bit smaller :)

I've made a bit smaller version: 136 Kbytes ROM with some extras:

- Turn OFF R800 on Turbo R machines (with R800 -> error in graphics)

- If you press "F" key at launch -> Toggle VDP frequency

LOL. the .ZIP of this ROM is indeed a bit smaller then than the .ZIP of the .DSK, so... updated it on my site Smile

NIce (hacking battle! Wink) Though it comes with a SCORES.BRK with crap that doesn't seem original.
This file can be deleted, then you start with an empty highscore list. Not sure if the original disk has a default one?

This rom would be complete if it would support saving the highscore.
+ welcome would be a key to pause gameplay (or is there a way to pause the game?)
