Is it possible to convert a .ROM file into a .CAS File, for loading into a MSX 1 Computer ?

Thanks.

Regards

most of the roms are al ready converted to cas files.
http://www.planetemu.net/machine/msx-1-2

with the program msx2cas apk(oldest version as possible) on you're phone you can load a cas or a bin file on a msx. I had the phone headphone out and plug it in to rec (red cable) into the data recorder and recorded the file on a tape and played back on the msx. it worked for me.
msx2cas converds roms also i believe but only the smal roms.

Hi Gary,
The the easiest way of enjoying al those lovely msx games, is stil for me the megaflashrom sd or a carnivore2 cartridge.
even though I use the diskdrive or the cassete tape, for maintenance purposes, the best way to preserve old hardware is to use it now and then.

If you use CASLink3 you can convert up to 48k ROMs to WAV and then use WAV2CAS to convert to CAS. You can then try to load these on a CASDuino or other such device. If you have an Android phone you can try MSX2CAS and that will convert the ROM to audio for playback through the Ear lead of your cassette cable.
