Second patch works flawlessly! Great work GDX!!! Smile
I don't mean to sound too demanding, but I hope at some point you can take a look at these which also don't work on real MSX with rom loaders:

1) DONKEY KONG (OCEAN SOFTWARE) 48 kb version CRC: 5640E6E2 - Doesn't work at all.
2) DOUBLE DRAGON (ZEMINA) 32 kb CRC: C70E3A34 - Enemies don't move.
3) GUN.SMOKE (PROSOFT) 32 kb CRC: 1318DBA7 - Shoots in right direction only.
4) KNUCKLE JOE (PROSOFT) 32 kb CRC: 33BE6192 - Hangs on title screen (this game seems to be a hack of Jackie Chan The Protector but better than the original in my opinion).

This Donkey Kong has a size of 48kB but it use SCC mapper. EXECROM or ODO can't launch it. Try with Sofarom.

Gun Smoke has a anti-piracy protection by software. Replace the byte C9 by DD at 00094Ch then 12 by C9 at 000E14h, that should remove it.

Double Dragon:
Try to replace the bytes 36 C3 by 00 00 at 00094Ch then 12 by C9 at 0010CBh

Knuckle Joe:
00 00 3E 04 32 B5 41 -> C3 B2 41 00 00 3E CD at 00019Eh
80 BF -> 74 41 at 000619h
Then, for a better support with Rom loaders fill from 00005h to 00001Fh with 00h. (to clear the header and the remaining waste)

Thank you GDX... those will keep me busy for a long time!
Already played Double Dragon and reached stage 2. No issues. However I had to patch bytes 36 C3 by 00 00 at 10CBh (you got it mixed with the other offset) and I wasn't sure about 12 by C9 because it doesn't match at 94Ch. So I patched the nearest 12 I could find which was at 934h. Is this correct?
Knuckle Joe was exactly as you said and seems to work perfectly fine.

It is a mistake to Copy/Paste for Double Dragon. Replace only the bytes 36 C3 by 00 00 at 0010CBh. That should be enough.

Looking more closely, I realized that Donkey Dong (Ocean) is compatible with Konami's mappers with or without SCC, and also Zemina 8k. I made a patch to add the ASCII 8k mapper support. Now the game can work on many devices (ESE-RAM ASC8/SCC, KOB, MAB, Megaflash ASC8/SCC, MegaRam, etc but not in RAM.)

It's indeed the Konami Generic mapper in blueMSX.
