*********** ATTENTION ***********
Don't use another DOS1 instead the one inside the DSK file. If you use another one, it may not load the file DSKPRO.COM correctly.
If you use DOS2 or Nextor, no problems.

What does this mean exactly? (I hope you didn't change your program to be compatible with the emulator. Instead, the emulator should properly emulate the hardware your program is compatible with...)

No, I did not change the tool. The emulator is getting better and emulating all commands from DSK-PRO.
So, it's just a fact that DSK-PRO is compatible with OPENMSX.

Ah, ok, but i would put it the other way: openMSX is accurate enough to run dskpro Smile
By the way and as you know, we are still improving some details, so next release will be even more accurate.

Actually OpenMSX is not accurate enough to emulate all commands. Its getting better and better and I am working together with Wouter to fix all the little incompatibilities with the real hardware.

I mean, I am telling Wouter what is not working yet and he is fixing it.
Lets wait the final version from him!

Current development version should have accurate enough low level FDC emulation for DSK-PRO to work also correctly for Microsol-style disk controllers and thus be fully compatible with DSK-PRO.
