In the late '80s I started learning machine learning with this book: Machinetaal voor MSX computers that I bought at the V&D :D
On the MSX I never used an assembler, but always used the monitor that was included in the book: Herbymon.
Even today, I still use it to write/modify small parts of code. For me it is the first tool to include on a disk, but I could not find references on this site.
Has anyone used this tool?

I read the book and remember the tool, I believe I even entered the listing, but I didn't use it much, soon after I got WBASS.

Ha, very cool Herbert! In the book Herbymon’s code and manual is listed from page 182 onwards.

By the way the “WB” in WBASS also refer to the initials of the author :).

p.s. Although there are many Dutch people here, there are also many non-Dutch so please write in English in the international section of the forum ;).

Fantastic! I have spent so many hours with this great tool!
Do you by any chance still have the source code? I would love to see how you made it.
Has the author of the book never contacted you?
