M&M#3 didn't withstand time as good as I hoped...
The dump here is made with a turbo R with a new drive. It had some hickups which I thought I fixed later. Turns out not to be the case... Works good on a 8250 so I'll try to make a new DSK of #3.

edit: redownload #3 from the same url. I replaced the dsk with one which (until now) works flawless.

I know exactly how you feel... The magazines I was part of don't have a silver lining when I look back at it Big smile
But at least there's written history of something you're part of. Stories, opinions, knowledge, memories... That's the good stuff Smile

So, what is the history of MCL, VCL, and all the related MSX organisations in Limburg?

That's a long and also very short story.
Long since it involved quite some drama, short since it's only very vague memories in my head.

IIRC, for me at first there was MCL and there were a few coding groups that could get along together.
I'm not sure where the drama actually started, but reading back on the FutureDisks, Sunrise Magazines and now the 2 MM disks it's clear there was some drama. Especially between FutureDisk and the to become VCL/MM Disk/Totally Chaos, but also on a management level: MCL letting in other computer types like PC and consoles is what started the downfall of the MSX Club Limburg.

I'm still hoping to get back to the Netherlands at the end of this month, than I'll pay a visit to Rinus and his MSX Museum and maybe I'll find more traces of this history.

btw: just to let you know I'm loving openMSX, great job you guys put into this!!!

@Meits : hahahah I saw Soepfiskje again and indeed, that menu background was not really silver lining Big smile I did remember it though when I saw it, but yea, who can forget coupling cows ?

In case you pass by your storage anytime could you check for those Totally Chaos disks you have? Not needed to go there especially for this but just in case you pass by. Better to throw out a few lines to catch this fish Wink

They all work. #5 seems to have the wrong lable since the menu kind of claims it's #4.
