there are many games whose rom is free on Atariage even from the past adapted to megacartridge
Look e.g. at Zaxxon Super Game and Buck Rogers Super Game. They are Adam games converted to rom format

Dragon's Lair is very nice and on MSX it would be a must have.
Mario Brothers is also a nice port of the Nintendo game.
Look also for Super Space Acer it is a nice shooter.
There are also enhanced versions of MSX games (look for Gradius or for Uridium - with speech and extra enemies)

I think that an semi automated patch system to run coleco megacartridges on MSX may be feasible...

The loading of such Roms could be done in a Memory Mapper but it is not as simple as it seems. Moreover, it would be difficult to do something compatible with the majority of MSX.

However, using a second Memory Mapper would greatly simplify the task without having to create a new specific cartridge. The Musical Memory Mapper and the Playsoniq can do this job.

Yes but 8kB are put at 0000h-1FFFh (it replaces the Bios when used) and remaining 24kB at 2000h-7FFFh. First 8kB are not simple to use on MSX and even if them are not used by the game, patched routines need space and it will be necessary to find. Even by making a new specific cartridge, the conversion will not be simple.

I'm interested in Dragon slair, Mario Brothers, Pac-man Collection and Zaxxon Super Game but maybe only the code source of Mario Brothers must be findable.

Without the source code the work is long and complicated without being sure of getting a result.

Ok, Tested Smurf with FRANKY and MMM from the last delivery and the ghostly sprite issue is not more.
