Does anybody know what's this software? It looks like there are some programs (it is in cassettes so probably using the SFG BASIC) which plays music. But that's a wild guess. Anybody knows exactly what is it?

I was actually wondering if it would be possible to add the SFG-Basic to the SFG-05 clone from RBSC. As a second rom in the same slot...

Are you sure it doesn't have the SFG-BASIC? At least the place for the EPROM seems to be on both PCB types:

Our wiki says - SFG BASIC is a BASIC extension that is only available on the Yamaha FM Music Macro cartridges. The clone contains the regular SFG BIOS (which i assume is mandatory to use those FM Music Macro cartridges BASIC extensions). Also midislav uses SFG-01 BIOS for handling midi. But iirc software with direct I/O like VGMPlay only uses SFG BIOS to identify the card's presence.
I would like to see the content of the cassettes in MSX computer music collections mentioned in the post, but trying to find a dump resulted in nothing. So maybe those should be included in list of undumped sftware. Should be at least 4 volumes (i guess if there's 3rd and 4th volume then should be at least first two...)

The ROM on the clones is indeed only the ROM present on the original SFG’s (switchable between 01 and 05). The SFG basic extensions are in a separate cartridge called Yamaha FM Music Macro (MM) cartridge (a second release is also available, not sure what the exact differences are). Those are just 32kB and SFG-01 and SFG-05 are 16kB and 32kB respectively. So I think they can be combined into a 64kB image, but I am not sure if the clone boards can handle 128kB ROMS (remember the boards allow to switch between SFG-01 and SFG-05 BIOS) and make either 64kB SFG-01+MM or SFG-05+MM available to the computer.

Is there some music in SFG basic files available already? (Have not googled yet)

For those tape dumps it may be a good idea to ask Takamichi if he has these tapes or if he might know someone who does.
