Where can I find the MSX games for the LINKS network, like A1 Grand Prix and the Super Laydock LINKS?
Nowhere. It has never been dumped because it has never found the way outside Japan.
But this page on the MSX blog had a download link for the A1 Grand Prix. But it's broken now.
Contact Konamito.
Are all the links games separate releases or is the links functionality already present in regular versions of some games?
As far as this page shows, any "LINKS" game could be downloaded and saved in disk, so some copies could still exist.
The problem is that you only were able to play it with the LINKS cartridge connected (the same you used to download). That worked as a kind of copy protection.
(more info at http://weekly.ascii.jp/elem/000/000/157/157561/)
So, dumps could be out there, and could be recovered but, copy protection system has to be removed then...
By the way, that page mentions a "Midnight rally" also. Is it the same game?
Midnight Rally as far as I remember is a variation on Hyper Rally for the LINKS
I discovered that Girly Block has built-in support the "The Links" network interface. If one is present, the "LINKS" menu will call the network interface to allow the player to play online.
There is a specific network version of Dires that works with the Links.

I own the Super Laydock Network Version, it has an extra menu item just like Girly Block. The game it self is the same as the original.
Could you please dump this cartridge? It doesn't seem to have been dumped yet.
