Andre, perhaps you could also take a looksee at this: https://www.msx.org/downloads/unnamed-anma-demo ?

Ha, that one is very old indeed... I can only slightly remember making that one.

This one I found through this site (MRC), because it wasn't in my own archive anymore:

https://www.msx.org/downloads/usas-demo-anma

I recently watched it after so many years. It was made in the summer of 1988 (written in a personal story at the end).

So can you please fill in the missing items here? https://www.msx.org/wiki/ANMA

Looks nice! In case you wish to use it outside ANMA's RED:

The interface uses I/O port '0'

10 LOCATE 0,0
20 X = 1
30 OUT(0),X XOR 255
40 A = INP(0)
50 PRINT RIGHT$("1111111"+BIN$(A),8)
60 X = X * 2
70 IF X>128 GOTO 10 ELSE GOTO 30

The above code will probably show a '0' for each piano key pressed (I cannot test it).

Oh, Cool
Can't test it ?! just plug in your keyboard in your adapter and switch on the msx Smile
Don't say you have replaced them by a PC Crying
Any way, cool i will give it a try.

Ha, I can't test it because I do not have the Philips keyboard (NMS-1160) anymore.
I still do have MSX machines (HB-F700P and Turbo-R), although the drive of the HB-F700P needs repairing.
I use openMSX mostly and can optionally use openMSX with real MSX keyboard/joysticks (see here ).
