HI
Unfortunately I lost my OpenMSX configuration (automatically saved in C:\Users\user\Documents) because I had a problem on my C disk and I needed to format it. I have re-configured OpenMSX as I did before, but this time when I opej the game list, OpenMSX only detects .zip games and .rom games, but can' retrieve .dsk games.
How can I fix this little issue? I set Panasonic FS-A1GT as default machine

thank you!

In the OSD menu you mean? Or what do you mean with "when I open the game list"?

Could it be that you choose to insert a cartridge? In that case you can only select ROM files (and zip). If you insert a disk in the disk drive, the file browser will show you disk images (and zip files).

sorry, I solved the issue, i remember that i have to open the "Insert Disk" menù in order to see all the games, .dsk and .zip and so on.
For dsk games, is it correct to use Panasonic FS-A1GT? I'm trying to launch OpenMSX games with my frontend Launchbox: before to format my C disk, every game perfectly worked from Lauchbox too. But now, .dsk games aren't loaded from Launchbox and I don't know why... Launchbox installation isn't changed because (fortunately) it is on my D disk. So I have to re-configure only OpenMSX. I think that I have configured the emulator as previously done, so it is really strange that .dsk games aren't loaded from Launchbox: as soon as i luanch a .dsk game through Launchbox, OpenMsx immediately close...
The .zip games works correctly also with launchbox

thanks!

I don't know Launchbox... but what is it doing to openMSX? So what is it configured to do to launch openMSX?

no sorry, this is not totally correct. ONLY some games doesn't work anymore. Some of them don't work even if launched with OpenMSX, others don't work only if I run them through Launchbox.

For example: Androgynus, zip format, dsk game. When I run it with OpenMSX, it appears this:

What if you type "FILES" there? You ended up in MSX-BASIC, it means the disk doesn't auto-boot or doesn't have valid content.

I have same error in War of the Dead. If I type FILES, it appears: "DISK I/O ERROR"

I'm sure that these games worked some weeks ago...it is strange..

EDIT: both zip files contains an .msx2 file. Is this the problem?

For Androgynous better use the ROM file. The game was released on ROM.

Without having that disk image I can't tell you what's wrong with it.

.mx2 or .msx2? Anyway, sounds like it's a ROM image after all... Try to insert in the cartridge slot.
