I've finished the game (for the first time in my life!) rescuing only 3 hostages. A congratulations message is shown and the ending music keeps playing forever. I had to reset, I don't know if this is the expected behaviour because I couldn't enter my name in the credits screen. Is it normal?

Yes, This version get stuck at the ending message "A successful getaway..." in a infinite music loop when it need to go --> "Insert your initials" and come back to the main menu.
nothing difficult to fix. Thanks Ivan for let me know.

At the ending message "A successful getaway...", the sentence "Rescue the hostages!" (below "You are a real pro") should not appear.

Watch on YouTube some ZX Spectrum longplays, it doesn't appear in any of them.

the tape version and played for arubi show the same things you have noticed. I think is irrelevant to fix that at this moment.
I'm planning right now to add adpcm samples replacing the poor SFX on our MSX.

This set of samples use better decoder (SOX) for achieve better quality audio output at 8000hz the disks delivered above was ADPCM SAMPLES at 22050hz and using FRONT adpcm.exe utility but not recommended for OKI MSM5205 ADPCM Audio Chip Finally encoded with adpcmenc from smspower.org forum

- just the one ADPCM is implemented (Main HERO FIRE) using just 1 Music Module at the moment the next release will be using Dual Music Module just stay tuned for more news.

Really nice alexito!

I have just one suggestion: increase the volume of your own fire because I can barely hear it (MSX-AUDIO sound) in contrast to the fire of the enemy (PSG sound).

Well, I think that is the big flaw of the Music Module Design that is why I recommend to use an external Amplifier and Mixer better yet with Equalizer like mine (Roland M-12E)check this video I had modified Bass/Pith/Effects/Balance for achieve more closer Audio Output to the Arcade.

About Emulators you can modify the Audio Output Balance just be curious.

The best results using Music Module was with BlueMSX(Ver 2.8.3) because it allow you execute very independent ADPCM PLAYBACK without bother the main CPU ......... I know that is not accurate emulation but is a big bonus for retro-programmers like me.
