Hello,
I'm trying to play the game Omega Dimension, when the title screen & music playes, I press 1 to start, then it goes to the next screen saying "Primera Parte ...." Which roughly translates to "Part 1 - Collect all the keys". Now the game is stuck, and I can't proceed any further. I tried several different machine-types in BlueMSX and OpenMSX, and also different versions of the game (disk, cassette).. I don't know, maybe there is something I am missing? A little help please? Smile

Unfortunately I can't find a site with the cassette dump, but I'll mail it if you PM me.

best regards,
- dink

For a CAS version, Google is your friend with 'MSX cintas' as keywords.

Tip : use a MSX1 Japanese or Brazilian machine on blueMSX Smile

For some reason, it hangs on MSX1 Arabic, European and Korean machines and as the intro says it, the game can't be loaded on MSX2 and higher.

I must have tried 10 other machines yesterday, with no luck..

What about using a spanish model like the sony hb-10?

Or wait, is this a brazilian game? Then it was probably only tested and developed on such machines.

Which machines did you try?

Manuel, following mars2000you's advice, I googled Brazillian msx machine, and that lead me to the Gradiente Expert.. so I got the machine add-on from the www.BlueMSX.com resources page, booted it/attached the cassette and it runs fine now :)
I can't remember all of the other machines I've tried, but I do remember trying a generic MSX Spanish machine in both BlueMSX and OpenMSX.

Manuel: Good news, it works just fine in OpenMSX with the Gradiente Expert 1.1 machine & cassette dump.
Dimension Omega cassette dump can be found here: http://msxcas.webcindario.com/
For Gradiente Expert 1.1 in OpenMSX, grab this file and copy the file "Expbios11.rom" in the zip to share\systemroms under your OpenMSX directory then rename it to "expert_1.1_basic-bios1.rom". http://www.vik.cc/bluemsx/src/MSX%20-%20Gradiente%20Expert%2...

Thanks. Note that it is not necessary to rename the file, openmsx will find it there.
