Hello!
For much as I try, I cannot configure OpenMSX with Nekolauncher to work out right.
When I think I've made it, some day (maybe due to MacOS updates?), it stops working, or more recently, one day it worked out OK and the next day don't (????)...
Can anyone send me one for MAC?? (and maybe with Nekolauncher too?)

Thank you very much!

Download OpenMSX here on the openMSX website;
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/openmsx/openmsx-0.11.0-mac-...

And Nekolauncher here;
http://nekocanmac.seesaa.net/

If there are other problems installing. Post here or e-mail me. I will help you.

Best regards,
Raymond

Yes, please give some details on what you did and what is going wrong. What is not working exactly?

Problems: one day, emulator went sloooooowwwwwwly. Another day stopped finding machine roms.
I have the two programs, I put GT roms inside OpenMSX, but always happen that one day without any reason, do not want to work out correctly. And I don't use any console command, I only play dsk files!

Maybe you could try CocoaMSX, the port of blueMSX for Mac OS X : https://github.com/pokebyte/CocoaMSX

I need to record videos, and I think cocoa is not capable.

Some "advanced" features of blueMSX are indeed not yet implemented in CocoaMSX.

There's a "Capture Gameplay " sub-menu, but I don't know the contents of this sub-menu (I'm not a Mac user)

selios2000: well, it may still be a good idea to first check whether it's a problem in NekoLauncher or in openMSX.
You are positive you didn't change anything? No versions of openMSX or NekoLauncher changed? No folders changed in which ROMs are stored?

Anyway, I'd be happy to assist tracing down the problem from an openMSX perspective first.

So, please try to run openMSX on its own and instead of the console, try to use the OSD menu (Cmd+O) to handle the simple stuff like changing the default machine, inserting a disk, resetting the MSX, etc.
Tell me how that goes. If you run into trouble, let me know and I'll help. Be sure to make clear what you want to do and what you tried and what happened.

As for speed, try changing the renderer from SDL to SDLGL.

I'm trying to use only openMSX without nekolauncher with Cmd+O. I've downloaded it again (which means that no machine system roms are inside) and detects the GT (and runs well). How rare... Maybe there is an old configuration lost in some place of the HD?
By the way, how can I record a video?
I will be making more tests thank you!

Try deleting the (hidden) .openmsx directory in your user directory.
