It seems this 2018 multiplatform title was missed here on the forums!

Quote:

Rodman (2018) - Misfit - Special Multi format triple cassette

Amstrad CPC, Atari 8bit, Commodore VIC20,C16,C64, MSX, Oric and ZX Spectrum

+ Free Digital Download for use with SD2IEC / divMMC Future type devices or emulation (yuk)

Remember when software houses used to port games from one format to another.. Well, Misfit has done it in 2018

Tested : On stacks and stacks of real hardware, slowly loaded from ribbons of rust. (Tested: PAL, NTSC was tested via emulation 'yuk')
Yes, 8 formats! VIC20 +16k, C16, C64, Oric, MSX, Amstrad, ZXSpectrum and Atari.. Only tfw8b would take 8bit this far ;D

VIC20 +16k Load 'n' Play

Guide RodMan around the maze, collecting the round purple things. Also collect the yellow diamonds because they're bombs and can be used to blow up RodMans enemies.

When moving around, avoid the things which are also moving around, as they aren't very nice.

Apparently, the things that move are called
● - Naughtly Nic
● - Dirty Tim
● - Desperate Dave
● - Spurious Pete
● - Teflon Timmy
Although no one knows why.

There are three levels, and each level has three screens:
● - Garden
● - House
● - Basement
Giving a total of nine unique screens.
Single cassettes are not available - Mockups shown are for size comparison.

Nice find, and the MSX port of this VIC20 original is definitely the best one.

The game actually plays quite nice. You can have a go at the demo version here: https://www.file-hunter.com/MSX/index.php?id=rodman
