OK, you have to copy the 2 disk files into 1 file. In MSX-DOS, type:

concat /B disk1.dsk+disk2.dsk diskall.dsk

(replace disk1.dsk and disk2.dsk with your game's disk files)

Then, start "diskall.dsk" with SofaRun. To change disk when playing, press keys [1] or [2]... when the disk is accessed.

Let me know if that works.

You're welcome Smile It's also possible to change disks just using the joystick, keeping one button pressed on disk access, then pushing the other button n times (for disk n), while still keeping the first button pressed (it's simple but not easy to explain!).

Not sure if this is possible already, but got an idea inspired by Victor's Usas patch :-)

This patch (amongst others) requires to have keys pressed whilst pressing space/trigger to boot the game.

Of course this is not very SofaRun friendly. Would it be possible to have some kine of .ini/config file (or extend upon this) to tell SofaRun which key presses should be simulated? That way Victor's stuff can be nicely enjoyed on SofaRun as well ;-)

Multiple combinations are possible, so it would be cool to have multiple config support (give them nice names etc. ;-))

Yeah, would be doable but that might not work so well when you have several keys to press plus another key to validate after that... I was more thinking about a kind of "generic patch system", where you could select some options from a patch file (.ips or maybe another format). Options could be named in the patch file and easily selectable in SofaRun (of course that would require some work on the ROM files to create those patches)...

Using Sofarom 3.2 on my Megaflashrom SCC+ SD on my Yamaha CX5MII/128 and having problems with ROMs. DSK files seem to run fine.

When trying to run a ROM file I get the error "Write error writing drive A:". Drive A on my Megaflashrom is not writable and I edited the SR.ini file after creating the directories on my B: drive:
SAVEPATH=B:\SAVES
TMPPATH=B:\TMP
SETTINGSPATH=B:\SETTINGS

If I select Retry I get the same error and if I select Abort I exit to the B:\Saves drive.

Any thoughts? thank you!

Is there a way to jump to a particular letter in a directory? For example, I have 0-G in a directory and to page right to skip page at a time takes awhile to get to G. Is there anyway to press G (or E, F, etc..) to skip to that letters page?

Is it possible this could be a future feature or maybe a search?

You can filter files in ZIP files (look for "ZIP filter"), entering "G*" will only display files starting with "G".

That's not possible for directories, but I'll probably add the "key shortcut" feature in a next release, as lots of people are asking for this.
