Has anyone tried the new version? Any issues? How can I get the new version announced on this site? I used "Contact Us" webform to request the news post, but was ignored...

Did you try the "Submit news" link under "NEWS"?

News submit received, will have time to look at it tonight (usually it's a bit more work than just setting it to 'publish').

Thanks to Danilo Drago, a nasty bug has been found in Caslink3 when loading small ROM images. The image was not fully transferred to its destination address due to the set C flag and the usage of SBC command to calculate the size of image. The problem is now fixed and the files on the Caslink3 website have been updated. If you downloaded Caslink3 files before May 22, please download them again.

Just added a small Python utility to convert binary loaders into hex arrays for the caslink.h file. Check the readme.txt file on how to use it.

Also, think about CD Sequential... for some reason it doesn't work properly in openMSX.... but why? On a real MSX it directly connects CD audio out to the MSX cassetteport.

So, I just bought myself Eurosoft's "The Games Collection" from Bas in Nijmegen (well, in fact from Bas' daughter, who had her own stand and stuff for sale Smile).

That's the CD Sequential version, but no way to make it work on a real MSX. I tried several CD players, volumes, MSX machines, I'm alway stuck at the "adjust signal" screen. I manage to keep the cursor in the "green" area by adjusting the volume, but nothing happens (when manual says you should keep the cursor in green for 2s).

Has anybody already managed to have this working? If yes with which setup? Maybe I should try to find an older CD player (or use an external amplifier) ?

Make sure any sound postprocessing is disabled!

Manuel, looks like you have lots of "echo" sound processing here Smile)

More seriously, yes, I'm on "Direct" mode.
