Aha, I just noticed the openMSX and Catapult start menu shortcuts are setting the working directory to the installation folder. I tried on a Windows 8 laptop to change them to another folder and all kept working. I'll try to change that in our installer. Please try the next installer build Smile So, build starting with 1ef2f9a or later.

@Grauw: You are right. ISR is in page 1.

I have released the updated version: https://github.com/cornelisser/TriloTracker/releases/tag/V0.9.1

Sweet, thanks so much. Now I can use it without that 50hz flicker.

@ssfony @ImATrackMan #@giangiacomo.zaffini: I'm just sorry it took so long to be able to find a way to reproduce the issue. Please keep posting your findings if you have any.

For now I will focus on the PSG+FM, SN+FM and Darky versions of the tracker and re-players.

Sorry, that didn't work. For some reason I can't let WiX change the working directory to something sensible. But you can always edit the short cut by hand: right-click on it, click properties, change "working directory" to whatever you like Smile

@huey: no need to apologize, this is just hobby right? And after you got openMSX running, you found it real quick Smile

This Darky thing is promising, I think I'm going to try to get one. But can you also make a regular dual psg tracker? One that uses internal PSG and the PSG on the MFRSCCSD?
BTW, what do you mean by SN+FM?

And I'll continue to test all impossible hardware combinations that I can come up with Smile

@ssfony: Dual PSG? Erh. Sure I could do that. SN = PSG found in Franky, Playsonic and Musical Memory Mapper.

Is it me, or is the MSX sound world to complicated for an MSX machine? PSG, MSX-Music, MSX-Audio,SCC(+),Moonsound
Has anyone ever tried to design a sound card that does them all? You would need to patch all software or hack the hardware, yet: 1 sound chip that does them all would be a great cartridge. With modern technology, I would probably fit in a box the size of a Philips audio module. Tongue

Could you make it possible to force locate/switch the slot that the SCC is located on? If I put a real SCC cart in along with the MFRSCCSD, it defaults to the MFR and you can't choose the second slot.

Something like that already exists for the Famicom and it lets you use all of its expansion chips at the same time. Using an MSX slot expander you could plug in all of the cartridges, but you need some form of software that's capable of addressing all of them at once. Seeing as it's already been done on other hardware, I'm sure it's totally possible for the MSX.

I would like that too, maybe a command line option to force the SCC primary and subslot and skip autodetection, then I can force TT to use the playsoniq.
