Yes! I finally managed to buy a complete version of Undeadline on eBay with manuals, registration card, sticker etc.

When I opened the package I was a bit surprised; the were two (!) disks. I didn't know Undeadline was a two-disk game (?). -> I am correct, it isn't. I examined both disks and put them in my MSX; the content of both disks looks the same.

Taking a better look I see ver. 2 on the second disk.

Did anybody know about the existence of this disk? And; Does anybody know the difference between the two disks??

Interesting find!

The katakana before Ver. 2 reads auto demo.
I did not know know that Undeadline had an auto demo.

Do you see any differences in the intro demo between both disks?
Does the labeled disk show some game play after the intro demo?

Hi The_Engineer,

Thanks for the Katakana transalation! I took a better look, and compared both disks again.

Both disks show the intro-demo, but they show another intro-screen afterwards. And where the left disk on the picture returns to show the intro-demo, the right disk -as the Kayakana says indeed- shows a played preview/demo of the game.

This is the difference between both versions.

Better make a good dump of this floppy, as it might be quite rare!

Perhaps the auto demo for Undeadline was a demo they showed in stores so consumers could get a feel for the game as they saw it. Games like Fray and Xak and so on also had those kinds of demos.
