I never played any of the Opera Soft games... What is the top 5 best games and how to they compare to other games, regarding quality of graphics, sound and game play?

(I've edited your original post so it links directly to the MSX Games World page, rather than the broken Google Image Search results link) Smile

Opera soft were one of the few spanish companies who actually developed a few titles designed for msx1 (and even msx2) instead of just porting the game from spectrum.
Here are some of the titles worth taking a look:

-The last mission (msx2)
-Goody (msx1 and msx2 versions)
-Livingstone supopngo (msx1 and msx2 versions)
-la abadia del crimen (msx2 version made by manuel pazos. the msx1 version is an spectrum port, but a very good game)
-Cosa nostra (msx1)

Hello,
In my opinion Livingston Supong is a great game to spend a lot of time trying to pass the next screen, but La Abadía del Crimen is the best game in 8 bits ever done. Of course you can find the opposite opinion about this from many people.

@Manuel: Try Goody MSX 2, great graphics, fun game.
@Juanmi: Thanks for finding the game. What does gunstick version mean? Is it some kind of lightgun ?

All 5 listed by Kai are great games! Livingstone Supongo is one of my all time favorite games (it's pretty tough at the beginning since it has some unique controls, but it's really fun to explore!). But make sure you play "Livingstone Supongo" and not the sequel, which is pretty bad... (enormous graphics that move really slowly)! "Camelot Warriors" is not bad... it's one of the "not too hard to beat" games (Livingstone is a real challenge!)

I finished Goody MSX2 several times without cheating as a child. I felt like Lupin the 3rd! Wink

If you finished that game so many times you deserve the title! LOL! LOL!
