Hi all, I’ve started to play ‘Firebird’ recently and I wonder a bit about some options.
The ‘coins’ you can earn in this game are flames. By hitting the F2 button you can acquire improved weapons. But that system seems a bit different compared to the upgrade-types of RPGs. For example, it seems that you can always buy the same weapon over and over again and nothing improves (no upgrades; so basically a waste of flames), while more expensive weapons don’t seem to make a lot of difference.
By hitting the F3 button the items appear that are being collected like eggs (or shoes?), cards, ladybugs, etc. But what is the use of some of them? And how can they be used? I know that tables open gates and they are used automatically. There is not really anything to be found on the internet about it. Just demos, passwords, etc. Thanks!

I think the flickering ones count for 10.
Must have mistaken the effect which your moving speed has on the jump.
