Are there any hardware differences between the 4 batches?
The only difference is that from batch 2 on there're capacitor and resistor on the SNDIN line, and the pull-down resistor on the internal reset line. To get latest functionality you can flash new firmware (if you did not do so yet
)
Where can we find infos to upgrade the firmware ?
In the manual (link in the first post).
How exactly do I update firmware image in the flash chip using online update?
• Ensure GR8NET is connected to the internet using either DHCP or fixed IP address modes;
• Use one of the methods to load firmware image:
o CALLNETBROWSE the GR8BIT server to /software/firmware/GR8NET and press
space key on update.bin file to load it into GR8NET RAM;
o CALLNETBLOAD(“http://www.gr8bit.ru/software/firmware/GR8NET/update.bin”) o CALLNETSETHOST(“www.gr8bit.ru”):CALLNETSETPATH(“/software/firmware/GR
8NET”):CALLNETSETNAME(“update.bin”):CALLNETBLOAD
• After successful image load run CALLNETFWUPDATE(3). It will validate the image, and
will request your approval to continue.
• After image is loaded into the flash chip, machine will reboot.
• New image is ready for use, and GR8NET will start using it.

Thank you. There's also an image of FPGA firmware on the site (dated 17/Aug/2016).
thank you
