I am looking for a working Panasonic FS-FD1A 3.5 inch both cartridge and disk drive. Thank you.

P.S "However, any other original real authenticates from the 1980's MSX disk drive with it's cartridge is fine too. Sony or Panasonic."

Why not get a USB floppydrive for your RookieDrive. The result is the same when you use the Konamiman USB FDD firmware.

I have rookiedrive right now. I did not know you can change firmware and update to konamiman. Where can I find this firmware? The one on the rookiedrive website his latest firmware is three years old. I don't know if it is the same one you are mentioning.

How do you use the RookieDrive? Only floppy emulation or also use Nextor from it? Personally I have flashed my Rookie with just the USB-FDD rom from Konamiman. That is great, you get a menu to select the disk image and it truly is just like using a real disk drive but much more comfortable.

i have updated my rookie drive with that rom and i love it. i love how it automatically formats a blank disk by boot hahah

however symptom the same

i am goin go try to run the game virtually in megaflash instead and see if that makes difference

I.....LOVE..............MSX.........SO MUCH..........IT IS.......SO.....COMPLEX.........AND VERSATILE........the issue is not hardware....the issue is ROOKIE DRIVE IS NOT COMPATIBLE...

AHAHAHAHAHH I tried it on megaflash virtual disk and IT WORKS...IT WORKS...but on real disk...brand new...on this firmware of rookiedrive or that firmward of rookiedrive it does not work...it reboots forever....BUT ON MEGAFLASH it works...works...WOOOORKKS....ahahahahahha

I am going to enjoy playing this but...the idea it could be RAM, could be MSX model, could be the cartrige, the disk drive, heck...could be the PSU that could play a role why such and such game does not work...MAKE MSX EVEN THAT HOTTER FOR ME ahahahahahahahah
