@Sama
You seem to be misunderstanding the standpoints of the Pirate Party surrounding copyright. Also, I advocate changing the law, not breaking it.

You also seem to be misunderstanding what this person is selling. I do not condone the product, but he is probably speaking the truth about the "never opened, sealed" part.

However, none of that is relevant to my comments about your blatant hypocrisy!

It would become you if you would just admit the fact that you've illegally profited from the work of others, instead of trying to pick a fight with me... Because you already lost that when you clicked "reply".

I don't know about the views of the Pirate Party, because honestly, I don't care about small parties with restricted views that are operating in the margins. I was just responding to your lovely 'mr. lawyer man' pet name. Would you have been more comfortable if I had called you 'mr. Z80 assembly man'?

Your conclusion that I am misunderstanding what this person is selling, is obviously unfounded. I just said that the fact that the product is sealed and mint or whatever, doesn't really matter, as there is no collector's value in pirated software.

Such a shame that I already lost the fight when I clicked 'reply'. Nothing left for me to go to bed then, I'm afraid. Nevertheless, I am man enough to shake hands on your epic victory. Congrats, dude!!

Well, at the very least these are cartridges and not floppy disks or tapes and they don't look too poorly made either (except for that A.G. logo at the top).

reminds me of the pirate copies of the rare shmup Sapphire (PC Engine CD) which were still going for quite a lot of money on ebay even AFTER it was found out they weren't original. In fact, I wonder if the ones going on ebay right now are real or not, they're hard to tell apart anyway.

I think if someone bootlegged Metal Gear 2 and did a decent job making it look real he could make quite some money on it... perhaps even if they were known bootlegs.

Indeed, bootlegs of concerts or songs are sometimes worth even more than the original. Ah well, one person's trash is another person's treasure Smile
