Konami Box Protectors

There's a guy on ebay (barcelonaretroclass) who sells ones specifically tailored for Japanese (e.g. Usas) and 1st gen (e.g. Road Fighter) - although he's currently looking for a new manufacturer of the 1st gen. boxes - he sold out of his existing stock.

The Japanese ones aren't perfect, but they fit well (although a bit too snug for my taste). The 1st gen ones - I've been waiting for him to get them for a few months now. I've been considering the 2600 boxes, but they're considerably fatter than the actual box (I don't mind them being too tall). Maybe if enough of us bug barcelonaretroclass, he can try harder - I think he's getting tired of my incessant messages ;)

As for the mini (not micro) Euros, I haven't found anything for those - not yet. I emailed a seller once, asking if he had anything close - everything even remotely close was too large.

Yeah, except those things aren't cheap, unfortunately. You're looking at spending several thousand US dollars to buy a batch of a few hundred/thousand; then getting enough people to buy it, so that you can break even.

Even if you have enough money for the initial batch, given the small quantity of the Euro mini boxes and the even smaller quantity of people willing to pay for protectors for those boxes, it would take someone with disposable income (meaning, someone who can afford to throw money away) to afford something like this.

That's excellent news! I'm also interested in regular/medium-size protectors as well (e.g. Road Fighter, etc.), if any are available. The 2600 boxes are too wide.
