Thanks for the pictures.
A question, the AX-370 with two disk drives. That looks like it was a originally a single drive unit that was modified, is that correct?

I was hoping that some of the people involved with the emulators would comment as to what they need from the various systems to emulate them.

I know that there are already ROM dumps of the Perfect MSX1 and MSX2 systems, and the Perfect1, AX170 and AX370 systems are supported in openMSX. But for the AX170 there is an uncertainty as to the exact model of the T9769 chip on the systemboard, which would require looking inside.
The AX-350II also seems to already be dumped, since it is supported in blueMSX (but strangely not in openMSX). Other then that most Arabic machines are missing from the emulators.

What we need is perfectly described here: https://www.msx.org/forum/msx-talk/emulation/dumpingreverse-... The tools and detailed instructions are in the zip file: http://frs.badcoffee.info/files/MSX_machine_reverse_engineer...

In short: for each machine we haven't got in openMSX yet, we need:
- pictures of the keyboard and the outside of the machine (you already provided them above, thanks!)
- pictures of the inside of the machine so that we can read the text on the chips
- you to run some dumping software on the machine: MSXMEM2.BAS and ROM dump software is the most important. All details are in the README.TXT in the zip file I posted above.

Let me know if you need help!

The machines that we're interested in mostly:
Machines we don't have any dump or info about:
- Msx hitachi 200
- Msx ax 330
- Msx ax 660
- Msx ax 990
- Msx ax 100
- Msx ax 150
- Msx ax 350
- Msx ax 370 ( 2 disk)
- Msx ax 230
- Msx ax 230 ( Red)
- Msx fatih 123
- Msx fatih 100
- Msx perfect 2 (Mithali )
- Msx perfect 2 ( 2nd edition) ( Mithali )

Machines we have some info about, but too many uncertainties to make a proper configuration:
- Msx ax 200

Machines we already have in emulation, but verification is always good:
- AX-370 (1 drive): for this one we especially need a photo of the mainboard to identify the used MSX-ENGINE chip.
- Msx perfect 1 ( Mithali )
- Msx ax 350 ||
- Msx ax 170
