The Sony HB-F1XDJ moved from Amsterdam to Arnhem - approx. 100 km to the east of The Netherlands. I did some polishing to get rid of the last bits of dust and now it's looking brand new. I also ordered an MSX2+ RGB>Scart cable from retrocables.es for better image quality.

On the photo's, the Sony is next to a Philips NMS8245. I like the high tech look of the Sony better than the more no-nonsense look of the Philips. But I like the Philips as well.

Now for some extra RAM, cuz in Japan it might have been a machine that could do everything, but in Europe it's a rather clumsy machine with a mere 64kB

Always liked the machine since I first saw it... It looks mean...

It's a great machine indeed. Lately I bought the latest produced MSX by Sony (HB-F1XV) which is expanded to 256 kB internal RAM. Besides of the Sony, I also have a TurboR GT with 1024kB internal RAM... Both are my favourites.
