We are very happy to announce we will be producing Carnivore2 cartridges. This is only thanks to the guys over RBSC who have agreed to let us build their amazing hardware.

We will have a few of these cartridges in stock very soon (the first batch is only 10 pieces) but dont worry, there will be more for everyone coming up very soon. We aim to have permanent stock. At the moment we are running tests to ensure everything is working as it should.

Price will be about 100-110€ per cartridge depending on the options.

For those who dont know, this cartridge implement CF storage (IDE), 1 Mb RAM mapper (can also be used as MegaRAM), FlashROM (8Mb chip), SCC sound, FMPAC sound (FM Basic extensions included) and it runs Nextor (MSXDOS2 compatible).

Cool device! FMPAC and SCC implemented. seems a better choice than the MFR + SD? Is it a single CF slot ?

Yes, single CF slot. The FPGA takes a lot of space on the PCB.

Next up, a device in which you can use a USB stick as mass storage device... Before that becomes a rarity Smile

Question: is Opll/YM2413 fpga emulated?
Question: are adress register and data register both i/o port mapped and memory mapped like it is true for Panamusement FM pac?

Yes, the 2413 is FPGA implemented, but is better if you ask here:
